RTTPPA Mobile App: Hospitality Logistics ERP on the Go
RTTPPA

About the Project

The RTTPPA mobile application is the field-ready extension of the Hospitality Logistics ERP platform, built specifically for on-site technicians, project coordinators, and installation crews operating across high-stakes hospitality projects in cities like Marseille, Nimes, and Bezannes. The mission was to eliminate the paper-based chaos of traditional field operations and replace it with a real-time, touch-optimized command tool. We transformed a complex logistics management system into a lightweight mobile experience that keeps every stakeholder—from the job site to the central office—connected, informed, and aligned at every stage of a project lifecycle.

The Business Challenge

01 The Paper Trail Problem: Field technicians were relying on physical delivery slips and handwritten notes that were routinely lost, damaged, or delayed in transit back to the central office, causing project finalization bottlenecks.

02 Disconnected Field & Office: Without a live mobile interface, on-site crews had no way to update project status in real time, forcing managers to rely on end-of-day phone calls for progress updates.

03 Multi-Site Coordination Complexity: Managing simultaneous installations across multiple properties—such as Hotel Imperator and large-scale student housing developments—required a mobile tool capable of handling parallel project threads without confusion.

04 Low-Connectivity Environments: Hospitality installation sites frequently have unreliable Wi-Fi; the app needed to function in offline or low-bandwidth conditions and sync automatically when connectivity was restored.

Strategic Roadmap

01

Offline-First Sync Engine: Built a local data caching layer that allows field technicians to log updates, upload slips, and change project statuses without an active connection, with automatic background sync when signal is restored.

02

Simplified Field UI: Stripped back the full ERP interface to a role-specific mobile view, giving on-site workers only the tools they need—project assignment, status update, slip upload, and notes—without the cognitive load of the full dashboard.

03

Instant Photo Documentation: Integrated a native camera module allowing technicians to photograph completed installations, damaged goods, or delivery confirmations and attach them directly to the relevant project record in one tap.

04

Real-Time Manager Alerts: Developed a push notification engine that immediately notifies project managers when a technician marks a stage as "Delivered" or "Installed," eliminating the communication lag between field and office entirely.

Key Features

  • Mobile Slip Upload Engine: A fast, one-tap document capture tool allowing field workers to photograph and submit physical delivery slips directly from the job site, instantly archiving them against the correct project in the central ERP.
  • Live Project Status Board: A mobile-optimized view of all assigned projects with color-coded status indicators (New, In-Progress, Delivered, Installed), giving every technician a clear picture of their daily workload and priorities.
  • GPS-Tagged Site Check-In: An automatic location logging feature that records when a technician arrives at and departs from a job site, providing management with verified attendance data and accurate time-on-site reporting.
  • Offline Notes & Punch List: A structured field notes tool allowing technicians to log snags, material shortages, or client feedback directly on-site, with all entries automatically synced to the project record upon reconnection.

The Results

  • Paperwork Elimination: The mobile slip upload feature reduced physical document loss to near zero, directly accelerating project finalization timelines and eliminating the administrative backlog that had previously delayed client sign-offs.
  • Real-Time Office Visibility: Management gained live project status updates throughout the working day, replacing the end-of-day phone call cycle with an always-current dashboard view across all active hospitality sites.
  • Field Crew Adoption: The simplified, role-specific mobile UI achieved rapid adoption among on-site technicians who had previously resisted digital tools, due to its intuitive design and minimal training requirement.
  • Multi-Site Coordination: The parallel project management capability allowed coordinators to oversee simultaneous installations across Nimes, Marseille, and Bezannes from a single mobile interface, significantly improving resource allocation and scheduling accuracy.
